The guest house was beautifully decorated and had a unique, quirky charm. the owners put a lot of thought into the design and it showed in every corner. . the breakfast served at the guest house was delicious and exceeded our expectations. It was a great way to start the day. the location of the guest house was ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. It was also close to beautiful beaches and charming villages.
The only minor downside was the lack of a bathtub in the family accommodation. It would have been nice to have the option for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring.

Our stay at Lower Barns was fantastic value for money, with a uniquely decorated room that was both comfortable and full of character. The location was great for exploring the area, and the staff treated us with genuine warmth and hospitality throughout our stay.
Only one small suggestion for improvement would be to increase the speed of the breakfast service, as it took a bit longer than expected on our second morning.

The surroundings are very picturesque and offer a peaceful environment for relaxation. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options to choose from. the room was decorated in an unusual and interesting style that made the stay feel unique.
The location of the hotel is quite remote with no nearby shops or pubs, which may be inconvenient for some guests. the bathroom facilities could be improved with the addition of a shower curtain and a better functioning door.

Arriving at this luxurious hotel, my partner and I were warmly welcomed and treated to a truly exceptional stay. Our room boasted exclusive amenities, including a private garden area, perfect for outdoor dining. the high-end service we received, coupled with the impressive BBQ facilities, made our stay truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for more from the attentive staff, who made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire visit.
The only minor issue we encountered was getting lost on the way to the hotel, but the location's peaceful and secluded surroundings more than made up for it. We highly recommend this venue for anyone seeking a pampered and luxurious stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a fantastic stay at this quirky, artistic B&B. the attention to detail and love put into the property is evident throughout. the Lawnside Suite was comfortable with beautiful views of the garden. the bed ensured a restful sleep after a day of exploring. the communal breakfast table allowed us to meet other guests and the breakfast options were excellent. the gardens are a peaceful place to relax in the sunshine. Meeting Woody the owl and being able to pet their dog added to our enjoyment. the hosts, Mike and Janie, were friendly and made our stay special.
Felt completely secure, no complaints at all.
